There’s much excitement on Shippensburg University’s PA campus! Offering degree programs for graduates and undergraduates, our prestigious school attracts students from around the country and abroad. All of our classes are taught by faculty members, not graduate assistants and the student to faculty ratio is 20 to 1, so students get the individual instruction that makes a lasting difference in education.
Fifty-two undergraduate programs are offered in the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education and Human Services, and the John L. Grove College of Business. We also offer 17 programs by the School of Graduate Studies and three Post Master's Programs. Also available are eight pre-professional programs, including pre-vet and pre-med, in addition to seven affiliate programs whereby students can earn combined undergraduate and graduate degrees through accelerated programs.
Life on campus is easy-going but busy. Academics are not the only focus of students at Shippensburg University. Other pursuits include more than 200 clubs and organizations, 18 varsity teams and 29 intramural activities. Ship has a student newspaper, a student-run television station, a student-run radio station and a strong Student Association that includes the Student Senate, standing committees and the Activities Program Board. Also popular are the on campus conferences and meetings and events at the Conference Center at Shippensburg University.
